I stayed here for my birthday vacation and also took the opportunity to explore wedding venues for our upcoming wedding. The hotel is very nice and very clean—it truly made us feel at home. It’s in a convenient location, perfect for walking around town and enjoying the beach! The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Michelle and Jenna. Both were so friendly and helpful, but Michelle truly went above and beyond. She took the time to show us the event spaces and made everything feel very homey. She was so helpful, and her kindness really stood out! This hotel made our trip feel extra special, and we’ll definitely be back again!

We ate dinner for the first time at the Cadillac House and had an excellent experience. We sat in the Tavern and our server / bartender Victoria was so sweet and attentive. We were there for happy hour so enjoyed a few 1/2 price apps (steak bites and spinach dip), wine, shared a chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was delicious and total bill before tip only 39. Excellent overall experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Once again I had a wonderful experience at the Tavern. My friends and I stopped in for lunch and we each ordered different dishes --from the beet salad, to the burger, to the perch, the food was fabulous. And we came back later for cocktails. Cozy and quintessentially the best Cottage experience.

Terrible place to stay- you have to go up elevator to 2 nd floor- out door to walkway in the rain- not covered. Down 2 steps with no railing. Walk across a platform the down 2 more steps without a railing in rain then open a locked door with your key to a hallway where your room is!! Also not allowed to play cards in their empty dining area- had to go to bar across street(8 people). No phone in rooms- very unsafe. Hangers hang on an open rack at eye level. Make up mirror is on wall about 6 ft high- unable to use. Dining room service very slow. I could go on but you get the point.

The night staff was very friendly and helpful on my late check-in. The room and bathroom were large and very clean. Built in 1860 - this charming place is one of a kind. I believe it was Miranda and another employee working when I arrived. MGMT: You've got great employees working here.

After meaning to stop here for a meal for a couple years, finally! And it’s even better than I imagined! A handsome renovation in every way: appealing appearance & comfortable . We enjoyed our dinner so much we returned with friends within the week! Food choices are excellent & quite reasonable. Each of us thought our meal was tasty & very generous. The service is friendly & professional. We look forward to return regularly in our travels along Lake Huron!

A getaway to Lexington, Michigan area must include a stay at the Cadillac House, Tapestry by Hilton. It originally opened in 1860 as a hotel and tavern in this charming resort community on Lake Huron. It is one of the most historically significant buildings in the region.
